Humanity v. Nature
In order to maintain longer lifespans, the relationship between human beings and nature depends on an ongoing exchange of goods and services. Despite mutually benefiting one another, humans tend to abuse and destroy the environment by stripping its resources and profoundly changing the land.
This series uses alternative photographic processes to highlight the gradual consumption man-made structures have on natural elements. These digital montages overlap the brown tones of salt prints and the blue tones of cyanotype prints to show the blend between these geometric and organic forms.
