A little bit about me…

Hi, I’m Ally!

I am a documentary artist and freelance photographer based in Jacksonville, Florida. My photography focuses on story-telling, evoking emotion and forging meaningful connections with my audience. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Photography from the University of North Florida (UNF), while double minoring in Mass Communications and Art History.

With over 6 years of professional experience, I serve clients across Northeast Florida as an event, lifestyle and brand photographer. I work with businesses, brands and independent clients like WJCT Public Media, Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville (MOCA), Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville, James Weldon Johnson Park, Jacksonville Bar Association and more.

I am very passionate about sharing my fine art photography in galleries, museums and publications. I held my first solo exhibition in 2021 as a MOCA Artist-in-Residence. My work has been exhibited in notable galleries such as MOCA, JKC Gallery in Trenton, New Jersey, The Petite Pop-Up Gallery by Downtown Vision and is part of the Jacksonville Main Public Library’s Permanent Collection. My work has been featured in publications like The Florida Times Union newspaper, Folio Weekly magazine, Jacksonville Magazine and more.

Named Folio Weekly’s Best of Jax “Best Photographer” for 2023!
